Stuart was born August 6th 1981, second child to Joe and Audrey. He was a delightful baby and learned to walk and talk early. He attended Clerkhill Primary in Peterhead and later moved to Newmachar Primary where he met loads of new friends.
These friends continued to keep contact with him through high school and laterly work. Woody played football for Newmachar United and wore No 4 shirt. He socialised with the Newmachar boys and had many a tale and antic to talk about. The golf outings were a highlight of the year, not for the competitive streak in him, but the dress attire that he could muster up and the drinking session!
He was a bright lad with prosperous future. He worked with Expro and travelled in many different countries. He and Laura bought a flat together, but he always took a daily trip back to mum and dads, when he was on shore. His sister's 2 children was his life and would happily feed and change baby Kyle and play with Kaycee. He often took Kaycee home from school and took her to her swimming classes. Woody appeared to worry about nothing, always carefree, smiling and willing to help. He adored Laura and they had made plans to move home and marry soon, with plans of parenthood their next step. Woody adored family life and had already made that commitment to Laura.
He was tragically killed on flight 85N returning home from offshore, when the helicopter unexplainably crashed.
His life has been cut short but will never be forgotten.
Love you always ,

Precious Son
God, I know you gave your precious Son
To give us life with You.
But I didnt want my son to leave,
Cause he was precious too.
We all are precious in your eyes
And all to you return.
I know my son will not come back,
And I still have much to learn.
Our time on earth is for learning,
And when our lessons are through
Our spirit chooses the time we leave,
And we come back to you.
My precious son is with you,
And there will be a day,
That I too will leave this earthly place,
And you will light my way.
I know your arms will be open,
And I will have a smile,
To see my God and precious son,
I will then become Your child.
